Mallika Das, Ph.D.

Mallika is an experienced nanomaterials chemistry with over eight years of interdisciplinary research experience in materials engineering for advanced applications. She is the first author of several articles published in peer-reviewed scientific journals. Over the past two years she has specialized in market sector and industry analysis for emerging nanomaterials technologies and has managed various projects in the academic, business, and innovation streams for organizations including MaRS, and the Office of the VP at the University of Toronto. She is currently writing a book on the translation of merging technologies to the market place.
Nikhil Gunari, Ph.D.
Co-Founder, Chief Technology Officer
Nikhil is an experienced surface scientist specializing in polymers and nanomaterials. He is an expert at preparing coatings and characterizing their surface properties. Recently his work on developing antifouling coatings for applications in the shipping and aquaculture industry has gained vast interest. A United States provisional application of his work has been filed. He has over 20 publications in the field of surface science.
James Li, Ph.D.
Engineering and Business Development
James Li received his Ph.D. in physical chemistry in November 2010, from the University of Toronto where he studied nanoscale mechanics of polymer films. In addition to his technical background in surface chemistry and materials science engineering, James also brings a diverse set of entrepreneurial, programming, management support and consulting experiences in the clean technology sector. James is the author of over 10 peer-reviewed publications in scientific journals and has been involved in consulting engagements with clients including SDTC and Natural Resources Canada.
